There is no discussing this look without discussing the poof. This could be the most stunning dress in the world worn by the world's most beautiful woman (which she is, according to People mag) and we still wouldn't be able to see anything but the poof. And really, "poof" is being kind; suggesting something light, fluffy and adorable. This poof is uneven and sloppy, like it was stapled to the dress at the last second to make it interesting. The funny thing is, it's a great dress on its own. And we kind of love the diva hair with the (no doubt) diamond barrette. The shoes we could take or leave. Neutral platform pumps are so overdone by now but at least they go with the dress. No, kittens, it's all about the poof for us. The entire question of IN or OUT rests on one's acceptance of the poof. Obviously, we're having an issue with it. And let us just say, we are not anti-poof. These two poufs love poofs. But this... this looks like something lazy bridesmaids scotch-tape to church pews 30 seconds before the wedding starts. It's just sort of ... there, and for no good reason.
