Doing our girl a solid.
Heidi Klum hosts the HOODWINKED TOO! HOOD vs EVIL premiere in Los Angeles,wearing a top by Tibi, jeans by Paige, and Miu Miu shoes.
No matter what, we'll always have a little soft spot for Mrs. Samuel. She is, after all, the face of Project Runway, which had a major impact on our lives. And she was the first celebrity whose fashion sense provoked us enough to comment about it. She was the original "IN or OUT," not to mention the person who inspired the phrase. We saw these pics this morning during our pajama-clad, cat-infested editorial meeting and thought she looked so cute that we decided immediately to feature them as a way of washing away the memories of last week's not-so fabulous appearance in a Michael Kor's Brownie uniform/pantsuit, which we just linked to, thereby keeping the memories alive. Hey, we'll do the girl a solid but we never claimed we weren't link whores.
Anyway, as much as Heidi rocks the tight, short, and shiny in her public appearances, she always looks fantastic in a pair of jeans, blouse, and killer heels. It's her look. She clearly thinks the gyno skirts are her thing, but we really think this is the best look for her overall. Sure, she can't wear it to awards shows, but she should, in our opinion, deploy it every time it's appropriate. If not jeans, then skinny pants and heels.
Granted, we would have recommended darker jeans and probably wouldn't have cuffed them, although she's so tall she can actually get away with something that stumpifies her legs a bit. Love the blouse and the hair looks great. In fact, that's the best her hair's looked to us in some time. WERQ it, girl.
